The prompt reporting of maintenance issues can often prevent more extensive problems. Requests for repairs or services must be submitted online to University Housing through MyRed, in the Housing Portal, under the FIXIT tab, or through the http://fixit.unl.edu website. Be as specific about the problem as possible. By submitting the request, you are giving permission for a maintenance staff member to enter your room and complete the work.
Notify University Housing Staff Immediately:
- In case of malfunction of utilities or damage by fire, water, or similar cause.
- In case of water leaks, electrical problems, broken glass, broken locks or latches, malfunction in heating, air conditioning or other equipment, and any condition which poses a material hazard to health or safety.
