University Housing Thanksgiving Break Information
Tues., Nov. 24 - Lunch is the last meal served in the dining halls until 2 p.m. Closed until Monday, Nov. 30.
Wed., Nov. 25 - Halls close for break at 10 a.m. (Abel/Sandoz, Selleck -not including the 8000 building-, Kauffman, The Village, The Courtyards, Husker and Fedde Halls.
Sunday, Nov. 29 - Halls open at 1 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 30 - All dining halls open for breakfast.
Dining Services
Variety, flexibility and unlimited access are signature features of UNL's Dining Services.
Students can choose between a 5-day (Monday-Friday) or 7-day (Monday-Sunday) unlimited access meal plan. The 5-day and 7-day meal plans are centered on flexibility, as many centers have extended hours. Students can access any of the five dining centers with their student ID (NCard).
UNL offers a variety of dining selections that include vegetarian and vegan entrees. Nutritional information is listed for menu items. Dining Centers feature events such as holiday meals and Good, Fresh, Local menu items and dinners. Husker Hoagies are popular for take-and-go.
