Wireless Outage Friday, Dec. 6, in Eastside Suites, University Suites
Residents in Eastside Suites and University Suites will experience wireless outage from 6 – 6:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 6. ResNet will be taking the wireless network offline to repair hardware that is currently causing service issues. The outage is only affecting the wireless network. Devices connected to an active network wall port will not be affected.
Questions about the outage can be directed to ResNet at 402-472-3535. Students who continue to experience wireless issues following the outage period can file a ResNet Connectivity Report.br>
Brief Network Outage in All Residence Halls, Dining Centers, Housing Offices, Friday, Dec. 27
A brief network outage will affect wired and wireless access in all residence halls, University Housing offices and dining centers on City and East Campuses, beginning at 8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27.
Information Technology Services will be performing annual network software updates that allow for enhanced features to address bug fixes and security vulnerability issues. Network service should be unavailable for only 30 minutes. Once updates are complete, wired access will be immediately restored, but it may take a few minutes before wireless service comes back online.

Rate Discounts, New Meal Plans, Free Laundry for 2020-21
Students who return to live on campus in 2020-21 can save $250-$500 on their housing rates when signing up for a trad or suite-style hall. Next year's housing contract features new, flexible meal plan options for both first-year and upperclass students. Laundry services will be provided free of charge to our student residents with a 2020-21 housing contract. Visit University Housing Sign-Up for more information.

C-Stores Cash Equivalency for Meal Plan Swipes
Cather C-Store will be the first to offer a cash equivalency for a meal plan swipe. From 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., students with meal plans can purchase food items up to $8 at the Cather C-Store that will be equal to one meal plan swipe. Pay with cash, credit/debit, or NCard for the difference over $8. There is no change for transactions under $8. After 8:30 p.m., all sales are cash, credit/debit card or NCard.
If the soft roll out is successful at Cather, all C-Stores will begin offering the option the following week. Contact Dining Services at 402-472-3561, or the C-Store manager with any questions.
Sandwich Shops Rebranded to Husker Heroes
The popular Husker Heroes, Husker Hoagies and Selleck On-The-Go locations have been rebranded as Husker Heroes. Stop into locations at Abel, Selleck and Cather to see our new digs!
Sushi, Gelato and Desserts! New Dining Center Features
Sushi will be available at the C-stores (soon to be named Herbie's Market). Students with meal plans can grab-and-go for a $8 meal equivalency. Gelato will be a new feature in the Abel Dining Center. Eight flavors will be offered, with 12 flavors on a rotating basis. Waffle cones will be offered later in the semester. Come to Cather Dining and check out the new dessert case! Over 25 desserts will be available including cookies, Rice Krispie bars, and cheesecakes.
Late Night at Husker Heroes – Abel Location
Husker Heroes in Abel will be open from 8:30 p.m. to midnight, Sunday through Thursday. The late night option is cash only, and isn’t part of the student meal plan contract. Sandwich options or combo meals with chips and a drink are available from $5 to $8.25.
