The Esther L. Kauffman Academic Residential Center is a living and learning center founded by industry and upheld by faculty. It fosters collaboration among students and faculty, as well as industry.
The residence center was opened in the spring of 2001. Featuring 82,500 sq. ft. of classrooms, living areas, and social areas, the Kauffman center is unlike any other facility at UNL. The Kauffman Center improves networking, problem solving, and communication between students and faculty - creating a unique learning experience. The Kauffman Center is open for residence only to students in the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science & Management.
