Cather Dining special meals and individual menu items prepared with food from local Nebraska farmers and producers is the hallmark of the GFL (Good. Fresh. Local.) The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Sustainable Food Project. The GFL project features these menu items at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to GFL, Cather Dining features a made-to-order sandwich line at lunch and dinner along with specialty bars and other traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items.
The GFL (Good. Fresh. Local.) University of Nebraska–Lincoln Sustainable Food Project
The GFL program began in September 2005 and is a very popular local dining program with students and the UNL community. This local
program defines 'local' as food that comes from Nebraska farmers, producers, and manufacturers.
